The VNote Ensemble is honored to announce that it has been awarded the 2010 San Francisco Friends of Chamber Music Musical Grant Award. This grant will enable the ensemble to compose, record and present a new work entitled "Suite Jazznera". Suite Jazznera will be a suite in four parts, combining the llanero music from the plains of Venezuela with the stylings of North American jazz. The ensemble is very excited to begin work on this project over the coming year. For more information about the grant, please visit www.sffcm.org.
